Thanks to Mammut's CoatingFinish construction, this rope holds up well in the face of everything the mountains dish out on your line. I accidentally ordered a Mumut 7.5 rope instead of a 10.5 and
I accidentally ordered a Mumut 7.5 rope instead of a 10.5 and Mumut will not allow the unopened rope to be returned. Is there any other way of getting some money for my unused rope? If not, what other uses does it have other than Ice and Alpine climbing?

This is a great twin rope for alpine climbing- and also as a single rope for moderate terrain, simulclimbing, glacier travel, or dragging no-pro. The dry treatment seems to resist icing and soaking pretty well, and the sheath travels nicely across edges without compromising hand too much. And just a note: use a Petzl Reversino as a belay/rappel device. These 7.5mm thin lines get far too zippy using standard belay devices.
