Practicing positive thinking is a great way to make it through the toughest winter days, but all the happy thoughts in the world won't keep you as dry as the Mammut Trift 3L Men's Parka. A relaxed-fit freeride jacket that's at home in the resort or outside the ropes, the Trift rocks a three-layer DryTech Premium membrane to repel water and prevent sweat from accumulating. Mammut sealed each and every seam with waterproof tape to make sure no moisture can creep through the cracks, and also hooked up a removable powder skirt, helmet-compatible hood, and Lycra wrist gaiters with thumholes to prevent wind, spindrift, and blower pow from flying up your back, along your sleeves, and down your neck.
Cold days can turn warm in a hurry when you're hiking for turns, so Mammut made sure the Trift had two-way underarm zips for easy ventilation. It also gave the jacket a whole mess of pockets, including two pack-compatible hand pockets that are big enough to hold skins, a sleeve pocket for an RFID ski pass, and internal goggle and media pockets to keep your lenses pristine and your tunes hooked up, respectively.
