Throw the Mammut Men’s Stratus Insulated Jacket on when you’re sitting at base camp waiting for the weather to clear up. The polyester microfiber insulation mimics the physical and thermal properties of goose down, but continues to insulate even when wet. The ripstop nylon shell makes this jacket super durable. And its high compressibility makes it easy to shove into your pack when the weather permits.

nice cool weather jacket

I tried on this jacket early morning a few times in the past 2 weeks, it is warm enough for the fall weather. Style is nice.

My Midlayer of choice

This is an awesome sythetic midlayer jacket. Very similar to the Mountain Hardwear Compressor jacket. Works great under a shell or stand alone as a midweight insulating piece.
