Mammut incorporated light synthetic insulation and a sleek softshell outer face to create the Women's Stratus Hybrid Jacket. Built for alpine use, the Hybrid Jacket compresses tightly and stows in its own pocket. A two-way front zip lets you adjust airflow, and Lycra cuffs provide a just-right fit.

Bottom Line: All the alpinist needs: sturdy, light, compressible insulation.

does this jacket have any wind resistance? am wondering if could be worn on its own, for running or skate skiing in low temps (0-15F), or if it's made to go under a shell. thanks!

Love this jacket

This jacket was great in freezing rain. I had ice frozen on the hood when I got inside, but the material didn't wet-out. Both materials are cozy, no scratchy parts. I have longer than average arms, wide shoulders and a full bust (40") and the large fits well. I could wear the medium, but the length wasn't optimal.
