When the alpine temps take a downward turn and you need a balance of insulation and breathability, the Mammut Men?s Stratus Hybrid Jacket steps up to the task. Synthetic Fiberfill insulation around your core keeps you shiver-free, and breathable SofTech softshell panels let perspiration escape without compromising weather protection. Underarm vent zips bolster airflow when needed, and a hem drawcord adjusts with a single-handed pull.

Bottom Line: A new comfort level for new heights.

The more I wear it...

By:
December 13, 2011

OK - I'm no fan of permanent hoodies...but so far this winter has been wetter and cooler than normal and the longer the wet cool weather continues the more I wear it. The sleeves are of good length BUT they do grab on the fore-arm and hence pull your base layer up to your elbows if you don't hold it tight. The hood is big enough for a helmet and the inside pockets are large enough for a UPS parcel !-D

Material and workmanship is what you would expect from Mammut. I was surprised because when I got it and first tried it on this past summer I was not overly excited with it but thought to keep it anyway "just because." I'm looking forward to wearing this late season skiing at the Snowbird in April...! Side vents keep it cool enough in those tepid winter days.

I am 5'9" 185# and Large fit me very well....sleeves have enough to reach middle of hand when extended out, if you have long arms you might have an issue there.

Great Ski Jacket

By:

Excellent ski jacket for cold places. Basically a soft shell with a little puff insulation around the core. Pit zips help to vent, large interior pockets hold gloves or skins. My favorite ski coat.
