Make coiling a thing of the past.

The Mammut Rope Bag Pro totes your line from route to route and provides a large tarp to keep your cord out of the dirt. When you're ready to send the next project, just roll the rope up into the tarp, cinch down the drawstring, and toss this Mammut bag's padded strap over your shoulder.

Nice Rope Bag

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Very large tarp and a nice padded strap make for a very simple and effective bag.

Decent rope bag

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Its a decent rope bag, what else is there to say?

Large tarp, comfortable padding on the shoulder strap. Circular shape means it doesnt sit well on top of a pack, but with some sweet talking and patience it works fine. Great bag for the gym or short approaches, but for longer approaches I'd suggest a bag that has a longer, tubular shape. The Metolius Ropemaster is great in that regard.

Nice but basic bag

This bag is pretty nice, it easily hold a 70 m rope, has a huge tarp you can use to keep your climbing shoes clean too. The only gripe I have is that it doesn't have any pockets on the side to slide a book for instance (true to description though, I was warned!).

It's cool bag that does the job for a decent price.

HOW MUCH ROPE WILL IT HOLD ?

HOW MUCH ROPE WILL IT HOLD ?

Responded on

It's intended to hold up to a 70m rope, up to 10.5 mm in diameter. A climbing rope.

It can hold a rope (60 or 70) as well as draws.
