Convenient way to get your gear from here to there.

The Mammut Neon Cargo Duffel Bag makes for a great way to get all your climbing gear from your place to the crag when you're traveling to an epic destination, and the grab handles double as backpack straps so you can take your gear from the car to the route without needing another bag. Mammut used the same Contact panel that it uses in its backpacking backpacks to keep you completely comfortable on the approach. Ballistic nylon holds the high-strength canvas upper together so you can travel with this bag for many years. It features wide handles on both sides for your convenience, two internal pockets for smaller items like tape and chalk, three organizer compartments to keep your rope separate from your cams, and an external compartment for food because it might get a bit smelly inside the bag if you have your shoes in there.

    Gym Bag

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Good Gym bag. Plenty of space for harness, shoes, gym rope, etc. I wouldn't want to carry anything heavy as it lacks support. Might have been better if the backstraps were on the other side and had a reinforced bottom. For what I use it for its great.

    Travel Mammut Style

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this duffel bag while I was working in Alaska. It is large enough to hold everything but more importantly, it's easy to transport with the shoulder straps. I don't use it for climbing but I do use it extensively for travelling and other adventures.

For me, it makes a great car camping bag. I can throw all my gear in it without worrying about if it's all going to fit or not. Plus it looks really cool and the fabric has this waxy treatment to add some light water resistance to it too. It isn't fully waterproof by any means but it still holds off very light moisture.

I am very pleased with it and plan to buy another one soon!

    Great bag

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I take this bag to work and to the gym everyday. It works great. Easily holds all my workout clothes, but is small enough to fit in overhead compartments on the bus.

This bag is not coated like the north face bags are, so if your looking for the ultra rugged waterproof material this probably isn't what you want. But everything else is great!

The convertible back pack/handle straps are comfortable and construction seems pretty solid
