Light RAS Backpack - 1830cu in
Out of Stock
This airbag backpack is light and fast, easy and equipped.
The Mammut 1830cu in Light RAS airbag backpack is capacious enough to easily hold all your gear and other essentials on a full-day tour in the backcountry, but it's such a featherweight it makes travel a breeze on those long tours or rapid-fire laps. The removable airbag system features a large square airbag that provides protection against head trauma in the event of a slide and floats to help bring you to the surface. A safety leg loop keeps the pack in place so the airbag deploys in the correct position, and the bag's bright orange color makes it easier for rescuers to spot you.
Please note that this system does not include the Refillable Compressed Air Cartridge, which is available separately (MAM0939). And please remember, this airbag system is NOT a guarantee that you will survive an avalanche; get educated, get the right tools, travel with partners, and be smart out there.
