A quick dip for a good grip.

Unlike most chalk bags, Mammut made its Togir Chalk Bag out of stretchy spandex to help you chalk up quickly and keep sending. Despite its stretchiness, the stable opening makes sure you aren't fiddling with a bag halfway through the crux, and its fleece lining is sure to give you all the chalk you need for a dry, secure grip on holds. The drawcord closure keeps it tightly closed so chalk doesn't snow down on your belayer, and two suspension points give you a secure fit when you pair this bag with the included waistband. A handy brush holder makes it easy for you clean up any over-chalked hold, and the zippered pocket stores your tape so you don't have to finish the rest of multipitches with torn-up fingers for lack of protection.

Zipper pocket big enough for iPhone 6!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this bag over all the other chalk bags, because I wanted to hook it to my harness with a carabiner, and this comes with a loop in the center. (Not a fan of using the belt for top roping.) As a bonus, it came with a zipper pocket that is big enough to fit my iPhone! Win-win!

    Clean bag

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a great chalk bag for making that climb a little less encumbered than by a bad chalk bag that is difficult to reach into. This bag works effectively and clips easily and cinches up tight.

    Holds chalk and cards

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This bag holds chalk like a chalk bag should. Also has a small pocket for stashing cards and such. Does not fit Samsung S5 phone and probably not an Iphone either.

    So soft.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Chalk bag's is chalk bag's is chalk bag's. This one has a super soft inner lining with a decently wide opening for those of you with big ol' beef fingers. So far so good!

    My everyday calk bag

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

the is a no nonsense calk bag. Has all the features you need. nothing that you don't. I've had problems with some chalk bags being too deep, making it hard to reach the chalk while I am on the wall. This bag doesn't give me that problem. It also have a small zipper pocket on the side which is cool because I like to collect rocks from different places and I can put one or two in the pocket.

    Durability Disappoints

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I used this bag for about a year before the carabiner clip broke and the drawstring sheath broke, leaving the bag hard to open and close and with the carabiner awkwardly rammed through the waist strap loop.
