Holds up well, but I hate the feel

I bought this rope about 6 months ago and have done mainly outdoor toproping and sport climbing on it. From my first impression the rope had a almost squishy feel to it. The best way to describe it would be floppy. My friends climb mainly on sterling and Maxim ropes so this was very different from what I was used to. Because of the feel, it is almost hard to tell where soft spots are. The sheath is durable as it's been run over edges and hasn't torn through, and it's caught numerous whippers. I do feel that it will need to be retired after a few more weekends though. All in all a pretty good rope, but I think there are better options.
