With its durable high-top design and waterproof breathable Gore-Tex Membrane, you're sure to have a leg up on the hiking season with the Mammut Granite GTX Hiking Boot. Built for wet, muddy, and snowy adventures, this burly boot will be rearing to go even before the trail has thawed out.

  • Gore-Tex waterproof and breathable membrane keeps your foot dry through wet and muddy conditions and allows foot sweat and moisture to escape
  • Nubuck leather upper and rubber toe cap provide rugged protection from trail hazards
  • Ortholite footbed provides cushioning, antimicrobial odor control, and excellent breathability
  • Vibram Tec outsole provides plenty of grip and traction over a wide variety of terrain and trail conditions

Bottom Line: Rock? Ice? Snow? Mud? No problem.

I feel invincible!!

I got these bad boys a month ago and have used them on a few hikes so far. I got size 10.5 and usually wear size 10 street shoes and the half size up was perfect since your feet naturally swell during hikes. I've had quite a few hiking shoes and these feel the most rigid and stiff out of all of them, although keeping you fairly comfortable. I feel like I can walk through anything with these without a second thought concerning my feet. Definitely build solid! Another plus is my feet are about a normal width but I have rounded pinky toes which normally causes quite a bit of rubbing with most other hiking shoes. I did not get that nearly as bad with these. However, I found that this rubbed my heel worse then other shoes. I got blisters the first hike I did with these and I taped up my heels the second hike and didn't have any problems. I also think this problem will get better once getting worn in and possibly getting in-soles. These don't let any water in!! I waded through ankle high water, almost as high as the tops of these water-repelling machines and my socks stayed dry as a bone. Overall these are my favorite hiking boot so far; and i've owned Timberlands, Chaco's, and REI Brand.

Love these babys already!!

Recieved these baby in the mail last week. First Impression: There light as hell (compared to my scarpas and asolos)! There super comfotable and the support on these shoes where beyond my expectaions (which is high). I orginally bought this bott just for day hike sort stuff or just on night out. But Im planning to use them backpacking too. Anyways i took them out on a one day hike in the sawtooths here in idaho. My feet where comfortable the whole time. I was able to climb up some nearly verticle rocks with no problem what so ever. Took them in a couple puddles, didnt get wet at all. All i can say is these things are the BOMB!
