    cable like

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

bought this rope after doing some research as I was looking for a heavy duty rope and this model takes a lot of standard falls, probably to most for its diameter, this is one burly rope.
On the downside it has cable like handling and feels more like a static rope in use although it does give a soft catch. Has a habit of forming twists also. Very durable with a tight braid.
If you want a beater then go for it but if you want a supple rope that feels good in the hands then look elsewhere.
