The Mammut Men’s Convey Pant uses a combination of Gore-Tex PacLite and Gore-Tex Pro fabric to increase durability in key areas without adding undue weight. Extra PU patches increase resistance to cutting from ski edges or freshly sharpened crampons, so you don’t come back to camp looking like the victim of a lion attack. Mammut also includes full-length side zippers to make changing easier and let you increase ventilation on hot summit days.

Bottom Line: Mountain-ready protection and versatile features.

Hi.
How much compressible is this? I see that it has paclite, but the fabric looks stiff and thick.
I was thinking of buying the similar berghau's paclite pant which weights at around 200g and is very packable.
I like the mammut's products but for the specific pant i want to be as compressible as it can be.

I really wanted a lightweight shell pant for mountaineering and backpacking. I have Arcteryx Theta SV bibs for winter, but the Pro shell is to much to lug around in Summer. The Paclite is perfect (Im a big fan of Gore products). However the sweetest part is the full length side zips which make putting them on and temp regulation ever so easy. Another great Mammut product!

I'd like to know if these pants would work well for spring

I'd like to know if these pants would work well for spring touring. I am concerned they might be too warm. Otherwise they look sweet and I'd like to get them. Any one have experience using these in warmer spring/summer temps?

No they should be good. Also they have full length side zips so you will be able to regulate the temperature however you like.
