Description

At 1.4 ounces you can afford to have a couple of extra Classic Key Lock Biners floating around on your rack.

The engineers at Mammut designed the Classic Key Lock Carabiner for use at local crags the world over. A straight gate makes for easy clipping, and a keylock avoids rope snags when you're building anchors.

Keep Them Around

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought a few of these to use for general purpose climbing / gear management / shoe tether / key keeper / Nalgene ornament.Cheap, climbing grade, all purpose key lock biner so it doesn't get snagged on your slings, belt loops, etc. Why not...?

Cheap and effective

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These biners are cheap and hold up well . I use mine to clip a Nalgene to my beltloop or to hang a water bottle from a piece of golf course equipment where I work..

Cheap burly solid gate

This is usually the cheapest keynose biner you can find. I use them on the bolt-end of all my draws when sport climbing. They are fairly burly and have stood up to sport bolts fairly well. On par with any other entry level biner.

Good all-rounder

Keylock nose, light-ish, good action and cheap for a solid brand. They do what they need to, good gear.
