Love these. My hands have never been warmer. Usually I have to carry hand warmers. Never again.

Method of construction negates quality materials

The materials are great, it's lightweight and the insulation is top notch, unfortunately they are sewn-through seams on the sides of the mitten. I was setting up a tent with cold hands in -30 C and as usual, took intermittent breaks to keep my hands warm wearing the big mittens. My pinkies couldn't warm up, and I could feel the cold seeping through the side seam at the edge of the mitten. These are likely good for those who run warm, who warm up quickly, or who have warm hands, but for me, I'll stick to my OR Alti Mitts for reliable warmth.

great mittens, buy them.

I'm on my second pair of these mittens, they're awesome. The first pair withstood insane abuse for years. We routinely ski in below zero weather. I'm a rancher that works outside in any weather, down to -30 °F on occasion. These mittens are, by far, the best I've found for keep me warm. They are easy on and off, and since they are somewhat soft and puffy I can easily stuff them into my jacket, not something you can do with stiff leather mittens. Buy a pair, you'll not regret it.

Stayed warm at -40

A very warm mitten. Have kept me toasty at negative 40. Fairly large for their size it seems. I have wide hands and they fit well. Seems well constructed so far.

Greatest warm mittens I know.

Those mittens are the warmest I've ever seen. Not fully tested them right now, but I bought them, basically not to use them, the goal is to keep them as "last chance" mittens when doing 14000+ feet summit. They are warm comfortable, long, (great overlap with hardshell or parka sleeves), and seem to really long last. At this time I didn't fully stress test them but I'm confident.

I bought these mittens to have as a warm glove and they are exactly what I wanted. These are the warmest mittens I have worn and I highly recommend them for people that get cold hands skiing or for winter base camping. I like them so much that I bought my mom a pair for snowshoeing as she is always cold. size wise, I wear a women's XS so I bought the size 6.

Extremely warm.

These mittens are amazingly warm. I received them right before we had the latest cold snap. My dog loves the cold weather, so I was out in cold weather at night with the temperature in the low teens. I had to take them off several times because my hands got so hot. Also, I have extremely large hands and these fit me easily. The retention straps were a little hard to get my hands through, but were extremely helpful when letting my hand cool off. These are great mittens for the extreme cold. I would definitely buy these again.

Super warm and comfortable! Was outside in about 25-degree weather that felt like 15 degrees for 3 hours and my hands stayed toasty the entire time.

These are my emergency mitts and are great to have in the pack or clipped onto a harness on very cold days or when you need to warm up in a hurry.
