This jacket kicks ass. It's super packable, so it goes in the pack every where. It works best for aerobic activities that require the ability to keep cool on the move, and warm on the summit. It's got a trim cut, so there's just enough room for a MH compressor jacket underneath, but that combo was good to single digits.

After I received my Alverstone jacket it proceed to piss for next 27 days. It has performed great! Super light...great fit....great venting and hood. It will go into pack for biking,climbing and touring.

Really light and packable jacket. What I like the most about this is that it does not have that rubbery feel that a lot of 2.5 layer jackets have. It feels dry all the time on the inside and has a great touch worn over a t-shirt in the rain.
