You won’t find any traditional back pockets on the Maloja AnitaM. Women's Short-Sleeve Freeride Jersey. That's because it's purpose designed for lift access and freeriding -- where hydration packs, or no pack at all, rule.

Specifically developed for the rigors of gravity riding, Maloja constructed the AnitaM.from Clint. This fabric, unlike XC jerseys, is extremely abrasion resistant for freeride durability. A tough fabric with a tight weave may sound harsh against your skin, but Maloja gave it a brushed inner surface that feels as nice as your favorite tee.

The inner surface is comfortable next to your skin, and it also increases surface area. This helps promote perspiration absorption and evaporation to keep your core dry during heated runs, and warm on the exposed chair rides back up. Maloja also treats the fabric with Polygiene to neutralize odors by stopping the growth of bacteria and fungi.

The AnitaM. jersey's semi-fitted cut won't snag branches or flap around when descending at speed, and the panels are all optimized for the riding position. This provides articulated sleeves at the shoulder and a droptail hem to keep you covered and moving freely. And, the seams are all located to avoid interfering with pack straps for a smooth integration.

The Maloja AnitaM. Short-Sleeve Women's Jersey comes in sizes X-Small through X-large, and five colors; Moonless, Hazelnut, Granat, Denim, and Blue Steel.

Euro style goodness

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:Runs small

Super cute design and the fabric is definitely different from other jerseys I own. I have yet to decide if that is a good or a bad thing. Can't imagine paying full price for this but on sale, it's a unique shirt that looks good.
