This go-anywhere, do-anything ski has a lightweight and lively Multicore wood core that flexes evenly so you don't get hung up in sticky or soft snow, with a progressive sidecut and full-length metal edges that allow smooth, confident turns in variable snow conditions so you don’t find yourself stranded in backcountry quicksand. There's no messing with skins or waxes, since the Epoch has an Omnitrak waxless base, which features sharp, tightly-set scales under foot for maximum grip and rounder, more well-spaced scales in transition zones to improve uphill and downhill glide.
