Efficient, versatile, and wax-free backcountry touring.
Far away from the groomed track and light years from the ski lifts lies a smorgasbord of backcountry skiing, available for your exploring pleasure with the Madshus Eon Ski. Combining the metal edges and deeper sidecut of a downhill cross-country ski with the lightweight wood core and waxless grip of a touring ski, the Eon bridges the gap between uphill performance and downhill comfort. An OmniTrak base grips slippery terrain and handles moderate downhills with ease, thanks to a grip pattern with sharp, tightly-arranged scales underfoot and softer, rounder scales towards the glide zones. You can mount the Eon with NNN, or classic 3-pin, or even telemark bindings, depending on how you intend to ski, and point this carefully-crafted cruiser towards the trees and stride off into uncharted territories.
- Lively Multicore wood core
- OmniTrak waxless base
- Full-length metal edges
- Added camber for easier touring

Madshus Eon Ski
Madshus Eon, Top Nordic/BC touring ski
- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
these are the best all rounder for our North east winters. They -just- fit in traditional ski tracks so you wont piss off people when your on the hometown groomed tracks. But the combination of the metal edges, wider tip/tails allow you to get off trail and make your own. I use these primarily in the rolling hills and deep woods/lakes of the Adirondacks including the ADK high peaks reign. mated these with "rottefella nnn bc magnum" bindings. BUY THEM!
Sizing: im 180lb 5'11" and started off with 195's but were too long for my style/location 185's fit perfect!
Make sure you use
"Swix Nordic Easy Glide Liquid Wax" yes i know these skis are "wax less" but well this stuff really helps..
