Fantastic Shoe

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

I have barely climbed on them but I can already tell I am going to love them. They are fit for narrow feet so if you have wider feet, the sharks would be a better option. The first problem I climbed on these was a v6 and they absolutely destroyed it. The edging is insane, if you can see the shoe in real life, the toe is designed for edging. As for other aspects of the shoe, there is quite a bit of toe hook rubber as well as a super solid heel. If my shoes are tight it doesn't move at all. I would definitely recommend this shoe.

Demon 2.0

I bought my demons about 2 months and they performed incredibly well on the smallest holds turning them into sidewalks! 2 complaints with the shoe. They are fit for NARROW feet. Not mine. Also the toe boson mine is already not only showing signs of wear, but falling apart. All in all it's a decent shoe minus the durability issue.

Great Shoe, Nice Fit

I got my demon 2.0's in the mail last week and have climbed every day at an indoor gym. I mostly boulder and these shoes work great to hold on to even the smallest holds and ledges. I wouldn't want to wear them on long climbs because they can be very snug but would highly recommend them for bouldering or shorter climbs. I wear a size 11 street shoe and the size 11 demon 2.0's fit me very snug. Can't wait to get out on some natural rock to test them out!

Killer technical climbing shoe...

I LOVE this shoe. It took me about 8 to 10 hours of climbing to break them in. These are my bouldering and overhang-sport-climb shoes. I brought them along for a day of top roping on some easier long routes and my feet were in lots of pain by the end of the day so they are, of course, specialized for technical climbing. They grab the smallest holds and heel hooks feel great. Highly recommended!

Striking Performance

The first Demon to come out was my favorite shoe from Mad Rock. It had an amazing toe but a specialized heel which would only work on edges. The 2.0 version took care of this problem. The heel is great on this shoe and it still has the great toe performance. The toe can stick to anything from the most polished footholds to the smallest. Amazing shoe for climbers that like the more steep and overhung climbing.
