Beware of sizing. I am 5ft 5. Maybe 135. 34C broad shoulders and some muscle on my arms. Tried this on 2 years ago and fell in love but the sizing bothered me. So I ordered both to try at home. If I wanted to wear a sweater it would have had to be the medium. But it was so big around the waist it looked ridiculous.(already had my kids and don?t need to look like I?m expecting ever again. The small IS snug in the arms and I really cannot wear a thick or any kind of heavy shirt. But if I did I would roast. The other day I walked the dogs 2 miles in a TANK TOP under in 22 degree weather and I was perfect. It?s so warm. I didn?t know there is an extra toggle to close the front fur part. The hood does not stay up well since there isn?t any extra string but this coat really is kind of a show piece. Waterproof for sure I?ve tested it in the snow and some rain. But not a downpour. Love the inside zip up and that?s what I usually use. This was included in the 20 percent off and for that I really love you backcountry!!! This coat hits right below my butt keeping me warm. All long coats look ridiculous on me since I have a long torso short legs. So?. If you can try it on or order both sizes?.
