dont bother

I bought one of these in 98. It ran like a champ. It still lights up well and keeps great time... But, I wore the bezel completely smooth and the glass is so scratched that you can barely read it. Not only are the numbers MIA, literally, you cannot feel any texturing on the outside or top of the bezel. Thats where my issue started...

I bought one of the new ones to replace my old one and let it retire and get another one for the next 15 years...

The new one is pure garbage. The one that lasted 15 years cost me $190 at the time. The new one is over $300, and isnt worth the price. It doesnt keep time. I have to adjust it once a month. The housing had issues and leaked on me. Luminox told me (face to face at a trade show - not on the phone.) that it wasnt made for the hard use that I was putting it through, so it wasnt a warranty issue. WTF!

Made for Navy SEALs but not designed for hard use, according to Luminox... BS.

Get a Suunto.

Love it.

A bare bones watch that is awesome. I have quite a few watches but this is by far my favorite.
