Additionally, an under-lid straps keep a length of rope secure for glacier travel and mid-couloir rappels. Lowe Alpine's proprietary HeadLocker ice axe attachment system is compatible with most ice axes to ensure your tools are securely fastened to your pack during your approach or ski descent. Lastly, the Peak Attack has two side compression straps that can be used to cinch your load down tightly or secure a pair of skis or poles when ski mountaineering.
