Great Daypack

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Taken this pack on several extended day hikes (25-40 km, 1,000+ m elevation gain) in both summer and winter conditions. Holds sufficient gear/supplies to do a winter bivouac. 35 pounds is its upper weight limit for comfort. Very functional access points, good weight distribution system (don't be fooled by the narrow hip strap - it places the split hip pads right where you need them and the narrow strap is all you need), bombproof attachment loops that are well placed, and great waterproofing (built in pack cover).
