Lowa made the Khumbu Mid GTX Lady Boot with ankle support in mind, so you can lace them up, shoulder a massive pack, and hit the trail with no worries. Split leather uppers include Cordura reinforcements to handle all the trail throws your way. Vibram Pinto soles handle miles of dirt, rock, and mud while giving you all the traction you need to stay on your feet. Plus, these boots include a waterproof breathable Gore-Tex linings to help you stay dry when the weather cuts loose.

I never heard of this Brand until the rep on this site made a recomendation. The boots are made well and my girlfriend said they are very comfortable. We even used them for snowshoeing and she said her feet stayed warm. The only time her feet started to get cold is when we took our snoeshoes off and were standing in the snow which I think is to be expected since that is not what they were made for. We live in the Northwest and have used these boots on wet trails and the haven't let us down yet.

Easier said than done to get the right size, as I discovered when I moved from Canada to Oz and started asking the reverse question. I'm going to say that you're probably about a size 9.

I love the Khumbu Mid...Lowa always has well built boots and shoes and these boots are no exception...true to size and they are made in Italy I believe...so awesome and comfortable!!
