Compromise is a dirty word for triathletes pushing their limits through rigorous swim, bike, and run stages. The Louis Garneau Tri Elite Course Women's Shorts seamlessly transition from water to land without skipping a beat, allowing you to focus on crushing the course ahead. In fact, you'll find their muscle-stabilizing fabric, quick-drying chamois, and minimized seam construction make the Tri Elite Course Shorts perform admirably on the most daunting of courses.

The shorts use Lazer Rev Fabric with a higher percentage of Lycra for support and stabilization along key muscle groups. Compared to more polyester-heavy fabric blends, Lazer Rev reduces fatigue from tiring muscle oscillations when you're biking and running. And though it's not a highly compressive piece, you'll still reap the benefits of slightly increased blood flow. Moreover, you'll find that Lazer Rev retains its shape over time to prevent material degradation and stretching. Going one step further for comfort, Louis Garneau uses a Coldblack finish to reflect scorching UV rays from heating up the shorts on hot summer days.

Reducing bulkiness and excess material, as well as increasing overall aerodynamic efficiency, One-Piece technology eliminates unneeded seams for reduced irritation and a slippery aero profile. The seamless inner leg won't chafe or irritate sensitive skin regions, also preventing excess material from bunching in the saddle. Keeping the shorts nice and secure without the dreaded "sausage" effect (i.e. unsightly bunching along the waist), the wide elastic waistband and elasticized drawstring prevent the shorts from riding up or slouching during fast-paced movements. Additionally, you'll find a Lazer finished hem that sits flat against the skin for enhanced aerodynamics.

Great shorts

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

The shorts fit well and feel great! They don't ride up, bunch up, or feel like I'm wearing a diaper on the run and they dry quickly and certainly were enough support on the bike. They do have a compressive quality, which is something that I like about them, they feel like a nice hug around my thighs...not a boa constrictor - just enough pressure to benefit circulation. I thought the fit was true to size - 5'5" 120lbs - ordered a small and it fit well

Louis Garneau Tri Elite Course Short

Ok - heads up, these shorts seem to run small. That may be because they are Tri shorts? not sure, but compared to their other shorts these seem to be a different sizing. I normally wear a small in louis garneau but I can easily wear a medium in these shorts.
