Description

Go far, get hard.

When the mercury is hovering around the freezing point, pull on the Louis Garneau Roubaix Glove and go find some cobbles. Silicone screening on the synthetic suede palm provides great grip, and a microfiber thumb wipe helps you keep drainage to an acceptable minimum.

  • Variable-thickness gel foam in the palm provides vibration dampening, allowing you to go the distance
  • Wind Dry upper blocks the wind and wicks moisture to keep you warm and dry
  • 40g Thinsulate insulation helps keep body heat in, while Drytex lining forces moisture out
  • Reflective piping increases visibility

These are warm gloves and have excellent grip. The padding in the lower palm is ineffective. I am happy with the purchase overall.

Wanted; a winter glove with gel pads that breaths but manages to provide enough warmth for winter mornings (5-10 Celsius +wind chill)
After several pairs of gloves of various materials that now all reside buried in a drawer this glove has proved itself and become a favourite. Light rain, chilling wind are no problem and after you're warmed up and starting to sweat they brealth well enough to leave you hands only just damp. Best gloves I have had to date!

This glove fits great and is perfect for that time of year when the half fingers are not longer cutting it, but it isn't time yet to bust out the beefy lobster claw gloves. I wear these for the 50-70 degrees range. When it dips below 50, I pair it with a Louis Garneau Smart Glove and it holds up quite nicely down to freezing temps. I like that I still feel like I am wearing a thinner glove with these. I would get a second pair.

Great cool weather glove

I have been looking for a good pair of winter gloves for a long time for my commute. It has been hard finding a warm pair of gloves appropriate for low 40's and below for riding above 20 mi/hr on a road bike. I was hoping these would do the job, but are not quite warm enough for me. It's great down to low 50's and I really like the fit.

Just tried these gloves on a 45 degree ride.
Excellent glove. Not too thick, but kept my hands warm. No restriction to movement. The gel pads in the palm worked well too. For me, these will probably keep my hands warm down to around 40. Great for the next level of warmth beyond cutoffs.
