When the weather starts its slow descent into winter cold, pull on the Louis Garneau Request Knickers and get a few more rides in. Knee warmers might keep you warm, but the constant hassle of readjusting them can nearly ruin your ride. Garneau made the Request knickers with their standard nylon/spandex blend, and sewed in the four-way-stretch MS Sport chamois for support and comfort.
- Anatomically-shaped, six-panel fit makes long rides more comfortable
- Elastic waistband with drawcord offers a secure, comfortable fit
- Multiple reflective logos increase your visibility to motorists in low light conditions

I used these knickers this spring for training and commuting. They fit well, are true to size, and seem durable. They gradually creep down as all shorts and tights do when walking, but stay right in place when pedaling. Cut for me falls right below the knee. Chamois is a nice thickness (read: not a thick beginner pad but more than a tri chamois.) I used them down to about 45 with knee high socks with no issues, though it was pushing it. Chilly inner thighs, but nothing to extreme! I will most definitely be buying another pair or two for my fall riding/cylocross racing needs.
I have used the for two seasons, Ok; I live in So Cal. However I commute to work three or four times a week rain or shine. These have held up. I am getting ready to buy another pair. Excellent down to about 50 degrees.
