If you're riding in the cold, you simply cannot do without gloves. Your hands take the brunt of wind chill, and without the right glove, you'll be wishing that your fingers would fall off just so the pain would stop. The Louis Garneau Race Gripper 2 Gloves are ideal for chilly days in the saddle, and if doubled with the Louis Garneau Typhoon Glove, will work at temperatures below freezing. Take care of your hands—it's hard to brake if you can't feel the levers.

The Louis Garneau Race Gripper 2 Gloves are multi-functional gloves for moderate temperatures. The upper is made from thermo-laminated Lycra. The material blocks wind, breathes, and controls overall weight. The palm features Garneau's Amara silicone printing for grip, and the liner is made from brushed fleece. Each Race Gripper 2 Glove is pre-shaped, so you don't have to worry about a bulky reach from the bars to the brake levers.

The Louis Garneau Race Gripper 2 Gloves are available in sizes Small through X-Large, and in the color Black.

Nice cool weather glove

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I ordered these to try a new cool weather glove. I've been using Pearl Izumi full finger gloves but found that their palm stitching started coming undone pretty quickly. I've only used these LG gloves a couple of times but am impressed so far. I especially like the grippy material on the inside of the fingers and on the palm ? it seems to solve the dexterity problem we usually get when wearing full finger gloves. They're also warm enough for cool weather riding. I wouldn't wear them in sub-30 weather, but they seem perfect for fall/spring riding. The wrist cuffs aren't quite as long as I'd like them to be, but that's not a big deal.
