Layer up,ride down
Living at 7000 feet, you learn the importance of layering the hard way. If you're not prepared, the wind and cold will cut like a knife and dissuade you from having any winter fun. However, there's a ray of sunshine on the horizon; the Louis Garneau Thermal Mondo Long Sleeve Jersey is here to fight back against the cruelty of winter. With its fleecy inner-lining and pro-fit cut, the Thermal Mondo goes toe-to-toe with fall and pairs brilliantly with a jacket in winter.
Louis Garneau's Thermal Mondo Long Sleeve Jersey is made from Garneau's
Thermal Mondo fabric. With a fleecy brushed inner-lining, the Thermal
Mondo material makes for a warming jersey, capable of highly effective
breathing and moisture evaporation. Perfect on it's own for fall, the Thermal Mondo not only protects against the chills, but with its UPF/SPF 50 protection, your skin is safeguarded, too. The Mondo Long Sleeve also includes two rear storage pockets, front and back reflective accents, and a
full-length zipper with Garneau's 'zipper garage' protective covering.
The Louis Garneau Thermal Mondo Long Sleeve Jersey is available in seven sizes from X-Small to XXX-Large, and in the colors Black/white, Ginger, and White.

Excellent LS jersey with multiple uses
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I bought an older version of this jersey a few years ago on sale. I wasn't sure how much I would use. Long sleeve, not superthick material, supersnug - I was thinking that this would be too much for warm or not-cold-enough days or too little for colds. In fact, it is the opposite: it breathes well in temps up to 65 deg and I can wear it down to about 50 with a thin vest and light baselayer. The lining of the jersey has a fine fleece. For even colder temps, it works great as a baselayer under a jacket. I look forward to wearing it any chance I get. It is VERY form fitting and feels fast at speeds over 25 mph.
Nice Cool Weather Jersey
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I'm 5'8", 165 Lbs, 31" waist and 40" chest and the Medium fits nice and snug but not tight. I wore a lycra undergarment and still had a good fit. It's a form fit/race type jersey it's suppose to be snug... (-: The material appears to be of good quality and construction seems well thought out. For the price it should have the following attributes: an extra rear pocket, preferably MP3 capable and zippered - A zippered chest pocket for stowing keys or money/credit cards - and the full zipper should be lined to prevent wind from entering through the chest area. I gave this jersey a generous 4 star rating (there is no 3.5). If the LG had the added features I would have been inclined to give it a 5 star rating.
Nice for the Sale Price
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs small
Runs a tad small. More "Pro Fit"
6'2"- 185 XL just works but probably would size up next time
Great Jersey, Runs tiny.
This is an awesome jersey but be aware that it runs very small. I am 6'3" and about 170lb (tall and skinny). I usually wear a large t-shirt and even the XXL was almost too small for me.
