Description

Forget it; the Mesh Carbon is for cycling.

The Garneau Mesh Carbon Sleeveless Base Layer is supremely light, at about half the fabric weight of most jerseys. It's ultra-permeable to let a maximum amount of air flow reach your skin. The Carbon Ion Mesh material is knit to maximize wicking power and is textured on the inside to literally stand the base layer away from your skin so that there may be a micro thin cooling zone. The curvy, flat stitched seams won't chafe your sides and they give it just that touch of class.

If you are new to cycling you might think, "adding more layers to stay cooler is crazy!" But with the awesome technology of fabrics and sewing techniques these layers do just that. They make it more comfortable to ride in hot weather. I love these and have a few of them. I have ridden in 80-115 degrees F and I can tell a difference between just a jersey and pairing my jersey with one of these. They seem less sticky and much more comfortable. 5 stars.

Is the fabric mesh on both sides, or is the inside smooth ?

It is the same mesh like carbon fabric on the whole thing. The inside is very smooth and feels great. The seams are well placed and are smooth.

I ride, race, and train in this top. I really like it, I really like the tight fit and how it wicks moisture off my body to keep me cool. Even on the hottest days I wear this. I feel that craft rules this category and i have many of there tops also. This is the one competes with the best. Give it a go

I love to wear these under my bib during the winter, lightweight, comfortable and keeps me warm!

Haven't quite determined if it actually makes me feel cooler on hot days. I mainly got it for extra SPF protection under my thin jerseys.
