Bought these for my wife, have feedback to share:
"I got these pants very last minute due to the Goldilocks bike ride that was supposed to be cold and rain the whole time. I didnt think it would actually rain the WHOLE time, but it did.
First of all, these did okay in the rain for the first 10 miles, i was warm and loving every minute of it. As time went on, it started seeping in and it wasnt keeping me warm anymore, rather acting as an air conditioner with the wind. It was a mistake on my part for thinking a simple pair of bike pants were going to keep me dry. It didn't say anything about being water resistant, but i took my chances and i should have gone with something else.
The sizing runs extremely small. I know that biking clothing are supposed to be tight, but these were a little too tight. After reading the reviews, everyone was saying size up a size. I usually wear an XS in all of my clothes, so i went with a small. I tried them on, but could barely get my size 5 narrow foot through the foot hole. I then returned them and got a medium. They fit so much better!
I do love these though. they fit amazing and will be great for fall/spring rides when its a bit cold! I would definitely buy them again!
I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars due to the sizing running extremely small.
surprisingly great tights

At first I hated these because I bought them for winter, and I was sad to discover that they are not winter-weight. As the weather turned warm, I discovered that these tights are actually perfect for spring/fall and I even wear them in the summer sometimes when it is cool in the morning or on a rainy day. They are very thin but oddly warm and wind resistant. They are also super quick drying. I wore them yesterday on a 65 degree misty day, and when it started to rain, I was actually perfectly fine even with only a short sleeve jersey and no rain jacket.
My only complaint about these tights is that they snag easily on the front derailleur and the foot holes are comically tight. I have since ripped some of the stitches from wearing them so much so they are easier to get on/off, but at first I needed my boyfriend's help to take them off!!
As far as sizing goes, I am 5'4" and 105 pounds and I have the small which is pretty good. I find myself having to pull the tights up a little when I stop, but I don't like my stuff around my butt. I wear shorts underneath without a problem.
Overall, these are great 3-season tights. They don't look like much, but they are quick drying, moderately wind resistant, and surprisingly warm.
I wear size 0-2 pants, yet these tights in Small are, well, tight! The foot hole will rip without a needed zipper. They are pretty hot looking, but bike shorts won't fit underneath. I'm trying a M because I like the cut and the price.

They look like they have a long rise, as if they were designed to be worn over padded shorts; is that the case?
Based on some reviews and staff experiences with LG tights here, these tights arent designed to be worn over shorts per se, but certainly can be if you're in the right size.
