Description

Pedal faster, not push harder.

The Louis Garneau Flintstone Short is a step above your push-powered car. Detachable mesh inner shorts offer ventilation and a bit of protective padding. Ceratek inserts with ceramic particles resist abrasion and wick moisture away, while seamless panels decreases fabric bunching and snagging without hindering leg movement. Perfo 3D chamois has a 100% polyester top layer for better moisture management and wicking, and seamless construction to eliminate pressure points and chafing

Great Shorts

Got these a week ago, wore them on a night ride as I wanted a bit more leg coverage (these hang below-the-knee) as the night time temps here in CO are getting cool. I had mild concerns about pedaling singletrack with shorts of this length, but to my delight they performed great. The stretch fabric kept them from 'hanging up' on my knees and they were perfectly comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

Anoying

Anoying stiches on the legs and knees made them uncomfortable. It get better while riding, but it's still anoying. Inner shot fit is odd.

Poor design, but ok

Shorts look great and are light. However, Louis Garneau clearly doesn't test their product. The fit of the inner short is totally off and they use a very abrasive stitching material right over the knee and lower thigh... Like these doesn't move when you're biking! Any test ride would have reveal these flaws... So I'm disappointed with my purchase especially at this price point and the BS in the description. Ignore these, buy something from a cie that actually ride mountain bikes!
