Description

Might as well get comfortable, it's going to be a long ride.

It's a bit of a chore to ride in the cold, but the right gear can turn a miserable experience into a satisfying training ride. Louis Garneau designed the Fit Sensor 2 Bib Shorts to help you make the transition from winter couch potato to year-round athlete. You get all of the fundamentals here -- 10-panel ergonomic construction, seamless inner thighs, back and bottom reflective logos, and flatlock seams. But the real story is in the fabric selection.

Fit Sensor fabric is the key to Garneau's cold weather strategy. The nylon outer layer is not only abrasion-resistant, but keeps out skin-chilling wind. The inner layer of brushed polyester is soft to the touch and wicks moisture away from your skin. The high Lycra content (16%) ensures a comfortable fit and provides muscle support. It also reduces the fatiguing effects of road vibration. Fit Sensor boasts an SPF rating of 50, which is key on long rides where waterproof sunscreen doesn't stand a chance against perspiration. Garneau also incorporated strategically placed Power Mesh panels in the bibs. These opaque mesh panels are breathable and promote airflow to keep you dry and comfortable.

The Airzone chamois features Beveled Molding Edges that provide a smooth transition from pad to fabric to eliminate pinching and chafing. Garneau also reduced the size of the vents in the chamois, but doubled their numbers. This increases comfort and durability. The seamless, four-way stretch Airzone chamois receives an anti-bacterial treatment to control odor, and pre-molded wings to add comfort while protecting against inner-thigh chafing.

Louis Garneau's Fit Sensor 2 Bib Shorts are available in black. They come in sizes from Small to XX-Large.

  • Power Band leg grippers prevent shorts from shifting mid-ride
  • Flatlock stitching won't irritate skin
  • Reflective logos on front and back keep you visible in low light
  • 10-panel design wrap the contours of your body for a perfect fit

I have 2 bibs and one pair of sensor shorts and they are nothing less than outstanding. They are very comfortable for short or long rides and give excellent muscle support.
