Meet your needs.
There are a few key boxes that we demand a racing jersey check before we'll even consider branding ourselves with its tan lines. It had better be aerodynamic, it had better wick and evaporate efficiently, and it had definitely better have lay-flat, pinch-free arm bands. Louis Garneau's Course Race 2 Jersey meets all of these requirements, so we'll meet on the road in it.
The jersey's body is made from LG's CB Mondo. Mondo has an unrivaled ability to deform and return for a fit that combines both comfort and second-skin aerodynamics. The back of the jersey is a mix of breathable kite mesh and wind-cheating Speedtech, which uses a dimpled surface for increased ventilation and aerodynamics. The jersey's flat, laser-finished arm bands are the gently compressive M-2, a material that also boosts aerodynamics while providing a gently compressive hold. All three main materials reflect the sun's heat and keep you cooler courtesy of their shared Coldblack treatment.
The jersey's three rear pockets are angled for ease of access, and lightly applied silicone grip on the back hem keeps fully-loaded pockets from moving. The shoulders are shaped to fit in the saddle, letting you reach into those pockets as easily as you stretch out to the handlebars. Reflective accents in the front and back help keep you visible in low-light conditions.
- Item #LGN004R
- Q & A
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: medium
looks nice, I'm going to exchange it for large.
Race but not for hot/humid weather
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Jersey runs a little small in the arms and shoulders when compared to other LG jerseys. Snug, sleek, and race worthy for sure but the fabric is a bit thick. For the price I'd expect this jersey to accommodate any summer condition. When it gets humid or hot 85 or above, it doesn't wick sweat as well as the description states and and gets a little reminiscent of wearing a wet washcloth. LG makes a better hot weather jersey in the Course Superleggera.
