Lorpen uses three layers of strategically placed fabrics in the Men's Tri-Layer Light Running Sock to efficiently wick moisture and cushion your foot during high-impact activities. The Tr-Layer light running Sock has a slightly higher profile for added protection while trail running and other off-road activities.

Great running sock for rainy days

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Use these socks to run 4-10 mile runs in my Mizunos. With the humid rainy summer we are having and being a person that sweats a lot I needed a sock that dried quickly, thin enough to stay light and durable/well fitting enough to not cause blisters or hot spots. These socks fit the bill. I have only had them for a few runs so I cannot comment on their durability.

Keep it as a casual sock

I wear this type of sock for daily use and when i have done light hiking this sock has failed me more than once. I've had two separate instances with blistering on my heel while wearing this sock. When I've worn my ultimax or smartwool socks on similar treks i haven't had problems with blisters. This leads me to believe that this sock is to blame. They're fine as a casual sock but if you plan on doing any sort of long distance walking or hiking i'm going to stay away in the future.

These socks are really comfortable. I was quite surprised. The fabric on the top of the foot is a bit thinner to allow better ventilation. The both has great cushioning. Zero complaints!
