    Comfy socks!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I wear thin dress socks daily but was convinced that I needed thicker socks for hiking/backpacking. The first time I used these was on a two-day summit of San Gorgonio; 10 miles the first day and 18 miles on the second day with brand new boots. These socks held up great and I didn't have any pain, blisters, or soreness from the socks/boots. Buy them while they're still on sale!

    So cozy.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

Finally got cold enough for me to put these on today and man they are toasty! Would definitely recommend for anyone who just wants some good all around socks that will keep their little piggies warm or for a really good hiking sock too. Cant speak on durability yet but they seem pretty tough.

    Dry and Comfortable all day...

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I recently used these socks for the first time during a hike, climb, and snowboard trip. My feet were so comfortable and dry at the end of each day, I couldn't believe it... I ended up loaning a pair to fianc who thought her cabin socks would do the trick in 15 -40 degree weather. 2 pairs for the price of one is also a great incentive. I'm glad I purchased two orders....

    Dry and Comfortable all day...

    great socks, amazing price

The only negative I'd give these socks is that they're a little on the stout side for a lightweight hiker. They're not super thick by any means, just thicker than I'm used to with lightweight class socks. That being said, they do wick great and so far haven't been too warm for me, I'll try to provide an update after some time in the desert this summer.

For the price they're pretty hard to beat (2 pairs for roughly the price of a single pair of merino socks from some other brands? Yes please!) . They are super comfy, seem like they're going to hold up really well, and they maintain a nice snug fit all day long. There isn't much worse than having a sloppy sock slide down into your boot or bunch up at your heel and I don't think these will ever have a problem with that.

Lorpen Merino Light Hiker Socks Rock!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've purchased 4 sets of these two-packs over the last couple years. My sons and I like them as well, or better, than our Smartwools (whaaa?!). These socks are an excellent value!

    Comfy

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These socks run true to size and description. I wouldn't use them for anything more than light hiking, but for that or just lounging they fit the bill nicely. Sale price made them a no brainer.

    Favorite Socks

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

These are great socks. I bought a pair to use as hiking socks, which they do well (thicker than most, good padding), but they're so nice and comfortable I've started wearing them all the time. When they popped up on sale, I couldn't help but buy another couple pairs. 10 1/2 shoe size, the large fits well (as per the sizing chart).

    nice mid-weight sock

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

relatively new purchase, so i can't speak to durability. but in the first few wears the fit it nice -- no sagging, weird seams or anything noticeable that shouldn't be. colors are cool. logo isn't over the top. could be used in 4 seasons. not expensive. i bought several pair.

    Great fit and feel

Feel good, warm and great for all around use. There are more technical socks out there if that's what you're looking for. These honestly these just feel so nice on the your feet. Both pairs lasted a little less than 3 years with lots of use before starting to develop some noticeable wear. Will be purchasing more. I wear 13.5 shoe size and I like the snug fit of the Larges.

    Great fit and feel

    Seriously?

I just bought these on Steep and Cheap. I noticed some bad reviews so I came over here to write a review of my own. I could've brought them here for a $1.25 less then on Steep and Cheap. Is this how Steep and Cheap works now? I have to admit I feel a little robbed.

For the price, they are decent socks. I love the reviews were they compare them to socks that costs twice as much, four times is much if purchased on sale.. Yes they are not the most durable, yes they are not the best quality. They are however a good value.

Best Pair of Socks I Own

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm a women's shoe size 9 and the Medium fit great. These socks are durable, I've had mine for over 2 yrs now and have outperformed and outlasted my smartwools.

    A+

As others have said, a great sock for a great price. Wear them all the time to work (w/ slacks & dress shoes) and also out on the trail. Have held up remarkably well, provide decent cushion, and can be worn a few days in a row without stinking (for when you're feeling lazy). Have since picked up about 8 pairs and wear these almost exclusively.
