I'm a women's shoe size 9 and the Medium fit great. These socks are durable, I've had mine for over 2 yrs now and have outperformed and outlasted my smartwools.

As others have said, a great sock for a great price. Wear them all the time to work (w/ slacks & dress shoes) and also out on the trail. Have held up remarkably well, provide decent cushion, and can be worn a few days in a row without stinking (for when you're feeling lazy). Have since picked up about 8 pairs and wear these almost exclusively.
Great

Comfy and rugged. Great for the price, i bought 4 pairs. They are not so thick that they make your feet extremely warm. I wear these in both hot and cold climates.
Good performance for the price

I bought these as cheap substitute for Smartwool and I wear them on the street mostly, I am sure they would perform well hiking too. I like them enough I bought 4 more pairs today (at S&C). Totally worth the low price.
Good Quality Socks

Saw these on SAC for $10 for the two pack. Being merino wool, I decided to give them a try. I can honestly say they are good socks and certainly a good buy at $5 per pair. The quality isn't as good as Smartwool and Icebreaker's offerings, but at 1/3 the price I think I will pick up a few more the next time I see them on sale.

Good sock. Nice wool blend (37.5%).
I wear a size 10 and went with the M with no regrets.
I'd call it more of a mid-weight than light though.

These hiking socks are so great I wear them all the time. They are indeed lightweight, making them good all around socks - though I would want something thicker for extended use in sub freezing temperatures. They are comfortable and wear much more gently on the skin compared to cotton socks, minimizing the occurrence of blisters. They are tremendous at wicking moisture away from the skin - after running I may be fairly drenched in perspiration, but my feet remain dry in these. And I get zero odor in them even if I wear them for a couple of days straight. They keep the feet warm in cool weather and cool in warm weather. Seriously, these are the best and have pretty much rendered my cotton sock supply unused anymore. Can't go wrong with these.
Versatile & Cloud-Like Comfort

Am I walking on clouds? Sometimes it's hard to tell when you're wearing these socks. I've worn them primarily to work and also on a small hike here and there and they have performed heavenly. When I've been on my feet all day at work they provide that extra something that keeps the dogs from screamin' at quitting time. On the hikes they've wicked away unwanted moisture like I had personal sheep foot attendants.
Like I said, comfort is the word here. The socks are like a bearded indie-folk band-- rugged on the outside, extremely soft on the inside. The overall design seems really quality also. They don't bunch at all, don't have any weird stitches that rub you raw, or any other problems that I've found.
I snagged these off SAC for a pittance of what they normally cost-- something like 50% off. At this low-price I was even able to buy 3 qty. (6 pairs since they come in a two-pack). The sizing guide led me well; I wear size 10 1/2 men's shoes and the Large fits perfect.
Bottom Line: When you spend anytime on your feet you want to keep the horses happy; these will keep you feet feeling glorious all day.
WOW Comfy!

these socks are SUPER comfy. I got some M's for my GF, but they were too big for her, I usually take a mens 10.5, and Mediums fit great on me (says only fits up to mens 9.5 - go figure)
gotta say again: really comfortable
Pretty nice

They are really comfortable. The sock holds your foot. Zero bunching on those hikes. I like to wear them even around the house.

I like these socks a lot and the price was great. They're not quite as nice as my Darn Toughs, but they're close. One of the things I really like about the Darn Toughs is how they keep my feet dry. The Lorpens aren't quite as good at doing that...
Great comfortable sock

Lorpen makes a premier sock. This sock is great for wearing casually in the winter or short hikes. I would recommend any sock by Lorpen.

These socks are great. Comfortable, warm, but not sweaty due to the merino wool.

Well made socks. Comfortable and fit well. They are light weight as the name implies. They were actually a bit thinner than I originally thought. I wear them both hiking around and as every day socks. There is a tiny bit of color variance between pairs. One pair in the two pair pack was slightly darker than the other pair, but not enough to really matter. Overall, at the sale price I don't think you can go wrong with these socks. I wear a size 12 in athletic shoes and 11.5 in many dress shoes. I ordered the Large size and they fit great.

Love these socks. Probably now on their 20th or so washing and have kept their shape and appear like they will last a good while. Perfect for hiking and skiing in fall. Would want something lighter in summer.
Excellent

These are awesome. Pretty much everything I look for in a pair of socks. Slip em on and its like instant comfort... there's no odd stitching to be felt anywhere, and I love the extra padding on the bottoms and the toe-cap. Extremely soft. Hiked around in them all day and no problems. I even lounge around the house in em, all the time! Another random thing, they actually do seem to help with controlling any odor problems.... I know I was skeptical at first, but i've noticed a difference. Pretty much the perfect pair of light hiking socks around
