I've always wondered on these fixed seatpost frames... do you cut it to height and then the bike is forever yours? I don't get it... why the fixed seatpost?

Yes, you cut it to your height and it comes with a cap that can still adjust a few mm's. So basically yes, it is fit for you so if you were to re-sell it you would need to find a guy that is very similar to your build, height etc.

Hope that helps.

I don't think I could ever consider purchasing a bike with a fixed seatpost mast, but I suppose I'm not the target market. For hard-core XC racing where the fixed height is ideal, I can understand, but for anyone else, it makes zero sense.

Hello.!

This LOOK 986 FRAME, size 55....

For mountain bikes, I am used only to sized like S.M,L,XL ...or inches, like 17'', 18'', 19''...

Sizes like 54, 55, 56, are used to measure speedy bikes...
so this size 55 of this mtb frame, would be comparable to what MTB size?

Small, Medium or Large?

Thank you very much,

Marcelo

Hi Marcelo,

The 55 frame is a medium, 17inch frame.
