Fit small, nice shorts

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are versatile shorts. Good for hiking or for more casual wear. In between weight material, not too thick or thin. I was disappointed to find that they do fit on the smaller/more fitted side. I can usually fit an 8 and occasionally a 10. Based on measurements I should have been an 8 but was definitely 10 instead.

Cool Shorts

I love the fit on these shorts, they're slender enough, but still baggy enough. They're also a great length for hiking around or wearing around town. I really like them.

Functional, lightweight, but the fit is a little off

I ordered these shorts at the same time as the Lole Bermuda 2, also for work (strength and conditioning coach). While both fit my 26" waist well (I ordered a size 2), the Mission shorts are even tighter on my thighs than the Bermuda 2. I do have large quads (apparently skiing, mtn. biking, and lifting will do that to you) and this is a common problem for me when buying clothes. They are lightweight, and could be great for hiking, but the lack of range of motion I have from the stretch across my thighs keeps them in town or on mellow walks.

Thanks for posting your comment on the sizing...similarly I am a size 2 waist with large quads from all the outdoor activities I like to do (you would think outdoor companies would be a little more sensitive to these kinds of things)
