Lolë Clyde Pant - Women's - 2009 BCS

These pants are wonderful! Love the high-quality fabric and the style. It is a pleasure wearing them and they look great too, very flattering. The moonlight color is perfect - it is more subtle than in the picture, with a grayish tone to it. Very easy to match!
The pants fit on the loose side. I am 5'4" - usually between sizes 4 & 6, depending on the brand - the first time I ordered a 6 and they were far too long and too baggy (fell down to my hips with the drawstring untied). The 4 fits much better - still very loose around the hips (just the way I love my pants to sit), and still *just a tad* too long, but I'm not stepping on the pants anymore when I walk.

I got these pants in a size 8- I am usually a women's 6-8. I am 5'5" and 145 lbs with an ample booty/hip area and a small waist. These pants actually fit well in the rear and did not gape in the waistband above my butt. The ribbon drawcord helps with this. The inseam of my pair would probably be perfect for someone about 5'7" (I need to wear with danskos and still are long). They have a wide leg that drapes nicely straight down from the hip- they are not very snug around the thigh and have a fairly casual look. Sometimes the pockets bunch up when they come out of the dryer but then you just tug them down-- standard procedure with many pants I think. so far they are holding up well in the wash.

Pants that lose color/shape are my nemesis! Happy to say...These pants are holding up GREAT after 4 months. I've been wearing them approx 1x per week in a 2nd grade classroom. Lots of movement - low chairs, floor, standing... move move moving. They look fabulous every single time I put them on. I am considering buying the "green" color. Brown is rich in color, great to touch, stretchy & get lots of compliments. Bought at size 8. I'm a 6-8 usually. 5'6".

The Lole Clyde pant is an extremely nice quality cord with an attractive "hip" female look. The spandex factor is great as some manufacturers are not smart enough to include this feature in waist band and it can defeat the entire comfort of the pant. As the other reviewer noted - they are long but I find they are still cute when cuffed with boots. The courderoy almost has an appearance of velvet making these pants swing both ways - dressin' up or down. They have a nice lower sitting waist and a nice fabric drape on the leg offering a slimming silhouette. I would buy them in more colors if I could find them (I beleive they came in cream and olive).
