You'll have to replace the valve. Any local welding supply store should be able to help.
Don't order red-- unless you like Pink!
Wonderful, light, see-through cylinder. No complaints about that. (The guy who filled it said he wishes they were all like this.) BUT-- don't order red-- ours is already fading badly, after about a week and a half in the sun. Very disappointed in that aspect.
Lite Cylinder 20lb Propane Tanks
So we ordered 2 of these bad boys for our home, a 1968 50' Hatteras. (Yes, we live on a boat!) The price on these tanks from Backcountry.com is THE BEST, believe me, we have looked. They are lightweight, you can see your levels, easy to handle and won't rust in our marine environment! We are SUPER happy with our product as well as our experience with Backcountry.com!

The outer casing is a polypropylene copolymer, the cylinder is a plastic resin (Derakane 8090) and it also contains and E-glass.

Gotta have one!
Whether you need a propane tank for your car camping stove, your stove on raft trips, or just your grill at home, these tanks are hands down the best. You can see the level of propane in the tank so you don't run out unexpectedly. It won't rust like those metal ones either and it's super lite. I really like how it doesn't have any sharp edges either (like the metal ones sometimes do) so I don't worry when I strap it to my raft frame or toss it in my drop bag. Highly recommended.
