Who said a split personality is a bad thing?
With speed in its heart and whitewater in its genes, the Liquidlogic Remix XP9 Kayak blows the category of crossover boats completely out of the water. Underneath the flashy color scheme and enticing lines lies a boat shaped to inspire confidence in novice paddlers and offer a versatile ride for experienced boaters. From multi-day, self-supported boat camping excursions to an afternoon flowing down fast-moving water, the Remix Kayak handles the lot with ease. Think of this as a touring boat that just couldn't stand to be left out of the fun of river running.
Polyethylene takes a walk down the runway when it sports sleek lines and sweetly gentle curves. The V up front slices through the flats, and a taste of rockered volume lets you boof with the best of 'em. Twin channels add some steel to the boat's backbone for when you threaten your kayak with a rock garden, and soft sides give the XP9 stability and help it roll with ease when the waves play rough. Tired of taking the scenic route? You have a secret weapon—drop the skeg and take the shortest way (a straight line) to wherever your paddle prefers.
Adjustable foot braces and thigh braces mean long and lanky paddlers and petite 'yakkers alike will find the perfect position. Bad-Ass outfitting keeps your seat and back smiling while keeping you dialed in to the whims of the water. The stern storage is a safe place to stow a dry bag for a weekend on the river or just some snacks when the foamy white fun takes more than oatmeal for breakfast.

Love this kayak
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I have had this kayak for about a year. This thing is a beast. I have ridden it on the flats with the skeg down and it is amazingly comfortable. Say you get tired of the calm stuff this beast will throw down on the whitewater just like your play kayak. I would recommend this to anyone who is serious about kayaking. This kayak is a goat, had to get a backcountry sticker for her because she eats everything I throw at her. LOVE IT!!!
