A ski pole that's simple and to the point.

When you're barely able to scrape together enough cash for a season pass, you'll appreciate the look, durability, and affordability of the Line Tac Ski Poles. This stick has bomber aluminum shafts that are strong and durable enough for all season. The hardpack-happy baskets are Line's smallest at 50mm and live for the terrain park. Line's skinniest grip is made of foam for a comfortable, secure grip, and the adjustable strap webbing (20mm) gives you your ideal fit. The Tac is everything you need and nothing more.

  • Aluminum 6061 components
  • 22mm diameter foam grips
  • Adjustable strap webbing (20mm) gives you a just-right fit
  • 50mm baskets

Tighten down the loose strap screws

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Good: Light and no nonsense pole. Distinctive Hulk-mania looking graphics are cool, thick durable layer of paint is more scratch resistant than others. Great value with end of the season prices.
Long grips provide plenty of room for some two hand hold sword play.
Bad: Screw that holds straps on place are barely attached when sent out from the factory, torque them down or lose your pole/straps! Keep an eye out if they get loose.
Foam grips collect snow and ice pretty quickly, not good for that those days where snow freezes on the top of the mountain but melts at the base.
Baskets are tiny like the description says, almost useless in fluffy powder deeper than 4 inches when trying to skate or side hill.

Pole is a pole wrist sucks

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These poles do the job, but i have to stop at the bottom of groomers and half way on deep pow days to tighten the screw at the top so i don't loose the pole straps. It get's annoying that no matter how tight I get them the screws always come undone super fast. Other than that the poles do what they are supposed to.

Look no further

Line has been making quality ski poles for a few years now, and this year's Tac pole is no exception. They're lightweight, strong and they look good. They also have a long, comfortable grip. If you're looking for a light, attractive price-point park pole, this is the pole for you!
