Description

A quick, stiff one that loves to pop up in the air.

The Line Stepup Ski will be a quick favorite for park-and-pipe hooligans who prefer partaking in freestyle shenanigans on man-made terrain. The Stepup is a firm ride with a symmetric flex, a touch of early rise, and one seriously burly construction. Take landings too deep, hit rails too hard, and botch your pipe run a little, and the Stepup will not only take the abuse, but in the hands of a seasoned vet, it'll even inspire the confidence necessary so you can make a ninja-like recovery. Sunday drivers look elsewhere, because this is a tool for the park addicts.

  • Early-rise camber profile allows the tip and tail to float above powder, helps you surf over choppy conditions, and makes hooking a tip in deep snow a thing of the past
  • Traditional camber underfoot gives you steady edge control and the ability to carve deep turns instead of sliding
  • Maple Macro Block core uses two full-length pieces of durable maple surrounded by springy aspen wood so you get the best of both core personalities
  • Symmetric flex uses the same flex pattern front-to-back so this ski feels just as predictable switch as it does forward
  • Fatty Base and Edge means a thicker base and edge for increased ski durability and tuning lifespan
  • Deck Wall construction combines the use of thick sidewall material and 3-ply maple veneer Skate Deck material on top for strength
  • Deck Wall construction makes for a ski that's tougher-than-a-rhino-in-a-tank and more shock absorbing than your finger in a light socket
  • 86mm waist is wide enough to give you balance on rails, boxes, and pole jibs and skinny enough so you still feel nimble as a cat
  • 5 Cut Sidecut shape blends five different sizes of sidecut radius into a single shape for ultimate turn shape versatility

These skis are amazing. They kill everything you throw at them and more. Not too bad for rails and urban, while being great for mid-large jumps and sidecountry hits. Carve like crazy both ways. The only reason they are not a 5... they can get waterlogged a bit easier than other skis, and they are also a bit heavier than most other park skis. But overall, they are killer and you should get them!
