You won't quite be able to put your finger on it, but when you first see the Line Women's Soulmate 98 Ski, your heart will pitter-patter, time will stand still, and you'll envision yourself skiing with it in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, in powder or through trees. After all, there aren't many skis that are this hard-charging and versatile—with a fir and aspen core overlaid with a metal matrix laminate, the Soulmate likes to go hard and fast, but still weighs under eight pounds a pair, so lighter riders won't be overpowered. Unlike Line's jibbier, switch-ready skis, the Soulmate has a directional flex, with a softer early-rise tip to float and turn easily, and a stiff tail for power, stability, and crisp turn finishing.

At 98mm underfoot, it's wide enough to handle powder without much issue, but has traditional camber underfoot so you won't be unstable on those days spent railing groomers or crushing icier-than-you'd-like terrain. Line's 5-Cut multi-radial sidecut makes turns of all shapes easy-peasy, and the Capwall hybrid cap and sidewall construction reduces weight, without sacrificing the stability and power of classic sidewalls. The sintered base and Fatty edges are extra-thick for a serious shot of durability to ease your mind, so you can take your Soulmate into gnarly terrain without worrying that it'll be the last place you ever go together.
