What are the two best things in the world? Skiing and bacon, obviously, so it shouldn't be surprising that the redesigned Line Sir Francis Bacon Ski is designed to turn the entire mountain into your deliciously shreddy meat-strip playground. Even though it's named after one of the pioneers of empiricism, the Bacon is all about feel, not science. There's no explanation for way slashing pow, boosting off natural features, and doing it again feels so good, but the new Bacon can do all that and more, with a sleeker 104mm waist, rockered tip, and raised tail that let you float over soft snow, slash giant pow turns, and get as creative as the laws of physics allow.
Hungry for some air? The new Cloud Core is made of a blend of wood and composite to keep the Bacon ridiculously light (under eight pounds, anyone?), so you can float like a feather and land as quietly (it also makes the Bacon eminently ready for the backcountry). Prefer to dine at high speed on open faces? The full sidewall construction provides powerful edge hold and the longer active edge makes for smooth, predictable performance at highway speeds. No matter your pleasure, the Bacon makes it smooth, surfy, and fun, with Line's multi-radial 5-Cut sidecut that makes turns of any size consistent and predictable, and a symmetrical flex that lets you ski switch as easily as not.
