Coming off the incredible popularity of the Prophet 90, Line decided to design a version for folks seeking a lighter weight, more forgiving ski. Thus, the birth of the Line Prophet Flite. The Flite uses the same geometry of the Prophet 90, but substitutes poplar for maple and a composite matrix for the Metal Matrix laminate. The result is a lightweight, forgiving, comfortable ski that gives you incredibly precise carving, high-speed stability, and a poppy, lively feel.
Base and edge are twice the thickness of a standard ski for extreme durability and impact resistance
Aspen Macroblock Core reduces weight and gives the ski a lively feel
P-Cut five radius sidecut provides powerful turns with less tail hooking
Carbon Matrix die cut laminate adds power where you need it and reduces weight
I am 5'10' 170lbs advanced intermediate skier. I am an East Coaster, and ski 70/30 groomers to pow/tress. I don't ski much bumps, and don't hit up the park. I like a light responsive ski that can charge down the groomers, and wide enough for the rare days of powder we get here in NE. I am looking at the Line Prophet Flites, or the 4Frnt MSPs. What would be a better ski out of the two, or should I be looking at something different?
i am 5'11 200 and demoed these at a 165 all weekend at mt. snow.....i would have liked to have a little more length, but they rode extremely well. very forgiving on bumps but able to maintain good speed downhill. i tried the regular prophet 90s as well, and found they were much stiffer, and traded them back in for the elites. there wasn't loose deep powder except for what was in the glades, but they handled it really well. our skiing styles sound familiar and i will definitely be picking myself up a pair of these.
I can't imagine a better all around ski. Since buying these, I've skied corduroy, bumps, packed powder, granular, ice, and a foot of fresh powder. The skis were very good in all conditions; great in the groomed and powder. I was worried about the skis being too flexible for me, I'm 6-1 180 lbs and ski aggressively. However, I've noticed the light weight more than the flex. There are better skies for each of the conditions I listed, but few that can handle them all so well. In ice, ruts, and loose granular snow, they demand a little more effort to maintain an edge because of the light weight they want to hunt and bounce around a little. I also use these skis backcountry and the light weight is really appreciated there. I highly recommend these skis for anyone of any skill level who wants an all around pair.
I'm 6'1", 180lbs, female and - ski anywhere: bumps, back bowls, and groomers, but wouldn't say I am super-aggressive. These or the Prophet 90? 179cm? Thanks ...
i am 6' 3" and weigh around 210 lbs and just bought a pair of the prophet 90's last year in 172, i also like to go every where from the park to the pow and they do alright in the pow but they really do well on groom and in the park but if you're more for the pow then you should probly get some wider skis, the 90's are also a little too springy for the bumps. hope this helped

The Prophet Flite 90 is a slayer of mountains. The 90 even without the metal matrix is still a very stiff ski. I thought it might be too soft but that concern was put to rest the first time I clicked in. Great all mountain ski!
Hey, I was looking at the Line p-90's, then someone suggested the flites to me because of my size, asying the p-90's might be too stiff. I am 19 yrs. old, 6'0" and 125-130lbs. I am an experienced skier, and I like to rip it, skiing hard and fast. I am not a park rat, but I like to play around a little bit. Also I live on the east coast, and try to go skiing about every weekend. would these ski's be a good fit for me?
hey man i'm 6'3" and weigh 210 pounds and the p-90's are awesome but they might be a little springy for you so you should probly go for the flites, but other than that the p-90's are an awesome pair of skis for everything but lack in the pow department. hope this helped
These skis are awesome! I took them up to park city last week and they were a blast. Through the trees, powder, a little park, these skis handled it all. The carbon construction but still a stiff ski. No regrets on this one!
SKI mag reviewers preferred the Flite over the LP9, while the LP10 didnt even show! Confusing, surprising. 145# 5'7" fit strong skier (like turning, no park, no booters, just resort pow, trees, soft snow) looking for a ski for Kicking Horse & Vail for soft / pow days when my atomic race SL's would be less fun than they are on the hard. LP10s might be my first choice, but this review has me thinking about the Flite. help? thanks
I'm looking for a ski for my girlfriend whose is just becoming intermediate. She's 5'6 / 130 lbs. Would this ski in a 158 be better for her than say a Line Celebrity?
hi there. i am looking for a ski to replace my k2 fat luvs, which i find a little heavy for me, and a bit much for our big sky powder days which are no alta deeps (but still steep as heck). i am 5'4, and about 90 lbs, i am intermediate/advanced and go anywhere but definately dont charge it. im more of a smiley, floaty, leisure skier. backcountry occasionally. would these skis be strong enough for me?
sure would!! I have the Regular Prophet 90s they are amazing skis they go all over the mountain eat powder for breakfast and come back hungry for the mid day chop and are still hungry for some spring ice
Am am looking for a ski to carve at the resort but also for lift access powder and backcountry trips. I am 6'1" and 185 lbs and advanced telemark skier. As the line prophet only comes in a maximum length of 179 is this a long enough ski for me? I also want a ski that is easy to throw around as I find a big day at the resort is getting harder and harder as I get older. I also like to cruise rather than charge hard.
