The Line Dart Ski Poles aren't too fat or too skinny—they're just right. Tough and light aluminum keeps the swing weight low, while the 28mm mountain-bike-style grips have a design that's actually easy to get your hands around.

  • Strong, durable aluminum components allow these functional sticks to last all season
  • Mountain-bike-inspired grips (28mm) have skinny, round shapes without forced finger placements that make it easy to hold on when you're launching massive back flips or smoothly slashing high-speed turns down wide open faces
  • Grab Tab technology (soft rubber tab located on the grip's top) allows for five-finger grabs
  • Set it & Forget it! 25mm hook-and-loop straps ensure the Darts stay put when you grab or stomp a big air
  • Two 'Screwoff' baskets (60,80mm sizes) offer versatility in ever-changing snowpack (no tools required for basket switching)

Overall I really like these poles. They feel very study, the grips are very sticky on my gloves, and the baskets are easy to change. They're also very light. No complaints for your basic resort pole.

Good stuff.

I like the look of these poles, and the grip is great.

I am worried about the baskets. This pole comes with two baskets that you can screw off by hand (every day basket (60 mm) and a powder day basket (80 mm)). Changing the baskets is not easy because the plastic on the baskets is extremely soft. The thread used to screw on the baskets does not seem like it will hold up to a season of constant changing. I believe by the middle of the season the thread on the baskets will be completely stripped. The idea is great, but it needs more engineering.

Update: Well one of my poles snapped in half yesterday on the hill. The poles were not bent at all prior to this. Clean break at a beefy part of the pole (see photo). Surprising because I'm not a big person (5'6" 140). Based on what other people are saying about Line poles--maybe I received a bad pole?

However, I never had a problem with the baskets like I thought I would.
