The metal matrix in Line’s Celebrity Ski adds a shot of power, edge-grip, and torsional response for your all-mountain assaults. Answer taunts from steeps and whispers from the pow bowls.
P-Cut geometry puts tightest radius in the tip, which keeps ski in the fall line and eases turn initiation
Metal matrix adds titanal laminates to boost power where needed, enhance edge-grip underfoot, and up torsional response at the tips
Freeride Flex for a smooth, stable feel all over the mountain
Fatty base and edge increases durability and impact-resistance, and ups the number of times you can tune
Bottom Line: The Celebrity never shies away from the camera.
That will totally depend on how good of a skier you are as well as what you will be using this ski for. If you are an expert skier that wants to use this all mountain/freeride, go with the 158 for sure.
If you are an advanced/intermediate skier or are going to be using this solely in the park, you could ride either a 151 or a 158 (my recommendation would be the 158).
If you are really only going to be using this in the park only, or are just a solid intermediate skier go with the 151.
If you are a beginner skier, get a skinnier ski in maybe a 145-150cm length.

I am 5'4" 120 lbs and ski single blacks, and want a ski to help me to do better in single blacks and some bumps. But I don't want 'too much' ski for me -- could I buy these, and should I buy 151 cm (up to my eyes about) or 158 cm (I am maybe 163 cm tall). Thanks for your opinions!
I'm the same size and weight as you and the 158 is great. The Celebrity is a double tip, so it rides at a smaller size. I think that would work well for you.
Hello! I am looking for a versatile Wasatch ski that will both play nice on-piste with quickly progressing kids and float off-piste in Utah powder. Sounds like Line makes a nice mid-fat so am considering either the Celebrity or Prophet 90. Am an advanced skier, 5'9" and 180lbs -- so as Celeb maxes out at 165 am concerned that may be too short. However, with knee injury heavy skis hurt by day's end. Any advice re model, length, and bindings? Also, any tips where I might demo these in SLC/Ogden area?
I live in Tahoe and ski the 165 line celebrity. I'm 5'5" about 130lbs. I really like the skis - fun on everything except the really deep heavy snow days where I use the Karhu Bertha. Easy to turn on groomers, fun in bumps, great in 12" of snow. Responsive, but stable. I have then set up for tele and take then in the BC quite often and I think they are really light. Took them up Whitney and Shasta last year. I recommend at least the 165 length for West Coast snow.
Hi - just moved to the San Fran area and plan on doing some BC in Tahoe this season. I have a pair of celebs that I am thinking about converting from in-bounds to back country. It sounds like you have liked them in a tele set up. What bindings are you using on them? Thanks
I'm 5' 4", around 128lb Intermediate-Advanced skier, normally skiing in French Alps. 70 piste/ 30 off, looking to ski everywhere and improve. Should I get the 151cm or the 158cm?
Also any particular type of binding that these skis require?
I would appreciate any help, I've read very good reviews but have never had fatter skis like these!
Got a pair of Celebrity skis for my daughter. She is 5'2" and weighs about 105. The ski shop put her in 158's. The effective edge is about the same as her 150 Volkls. She likes them the Celebrity. She is intermediat-advance skier as well.
I'm trying to decide b/n the volkl aura and line celebrity. I'm a solid skier who wants to slowly branch out into deeper stuff, maybe backcountry. I tried the aura last year and loved them but can get a great deal on the celebrity skis. What do you think?
I bought these skis for my wife, after she and I researched a bit. She had been disappointed by last year's Atomic Heaven 'n Hell and yearned for the feeling of her old Pocket Rockets. She loves them. She is a solid skier and likes the pistes and "bluebird" powder days.
5'2" 115lbs- I'm an aggressive skier from the east coast, just moved to Colorado and looking for a ski that is more suitable for Summit County conditions.... 70% on piste/30% off.. I have it narrowed down to the Line Celebrities, the Atomic Elysians and the Armada ARVws and I need opinions!
I'll testify that my girlfriend is 5'6" 125 lbs and has been rocking the 158 celebrity here on the east. She rocks them all over the mountain, inbounds and in the bc.
The three skis in comparison, the celebrity has the metal matrix, the ARVw will have carbon stringers, and the Elysian is just a wood core. The celebrity will hold up the best to ripping hard down the slopes, while the ARVw and elysian will be livelier. The rest of the specs are going to be the same, with the exception that the celebrity has the tightest turn radius, armada next, and elysian the largest. So if you want to get on edge to make the turns in the trees, go with the smaller turn radius.
If you're gonna be hard core and rip on your sticks, I would suggest celebrity. They will be a bit heavier (not by much) but they can handle aggressive skiing. If you're not going to be that hard, and want a ski that can be more playful (esp. in the pow) go with the ARVw.
any reccomended bindings for this ski? i am thinking the dynastar that are on sale for $130, but when i go to buy them it charges me $200? other than that any reccomendations are great thanks!~
