Tell your friends to get their cameras ready when you step onto the Line Women's Celebrity Alpine Ski. This women's-specific freeride ski gets into every party on the mountain, from the park rave to back-bowl booters. Line uses its telltale freeride solid flex and geometry but swapped out the heavy core and titanium used in the men's skis for super durable but light material. A poplar core provides quick edging and sweet maneuverability in the trees, and a carbon matrix adds durability and torsional stiffness. This real twintip's Fatty base and edge material doubles the thickness of a standard base and edge for high impact resistance and a longer tuning life.
Bottom Line: A smooth, powerful ride with plenty of attitude.
hi,I'm interested in the Line Celebrity 158s for my wife. She is a good skiier and looking to improve. Skis 20 days a season. What type of binding would you recommend and can you link me to it on your website? Thanks for the hlep.
You really can't go wrong with a Look binding, in my opinion. The Look PX 12 Lifter is a great binding for craving up groomers or pretty much anything really. The price might be a little much, but they are high quality and last a long time if taken care of. They also say the recommended weight is 170 pounds, but thats not true, my friend has them and she is only 130 pounds and there are no problems. Here is the link on this site.http://www.backcountry.com/store/DYN0234/Look-PX-12-Lifter-WB-Ski-Binding.html
...For her birthday. She loves them. Of couse she loved the look, but once on them she learned in a day to take a wider stance to get used to them. By day 3 on the mountain she is charging conmfortably on them, getting into the crud and powder now when she never would before. She skis like a different, better skier now and said just yesterday she can't get skiing off her mind since last Sunday was so good for her. Mounted with Rossi Axial 2s, nice setup!

I ended up with these skis by chance (they were not my first choice). To date, I am not disappointed. To date, I have only used them 3 days (over Xmas weekend), but so far so good. They float through powder with ease (the pow was up to my knees!), but also performed good on the groomed slopes. It took me a few runs to get used to them on groomed slopes since the width underfoot is wider than I'm used to (my last skis were 72 mm underfoot). FYI...I mounted them with the Rossi SAS 120 wide binding - awesome binding!
Tried them out this weekend on a nice powder day. They were great through powder, a little squirrely on hardpack/cordoroy. They are very floaty throught the powder. Not as fast as my other pair of skis (Solomon crossmax), but much more fun. Very energetic, and poppy. I paired them with the soloman Ti Z10's and I am very impressed and happy with this pairing. I got the 158's, and I am 5'4", 118 lbs. I can't wait to take these energetic bad mama's out for a spin again!!
Can anyone suggest a binding for this ski? I'm an advanced intermediate planning to improve my powder skills this year (but still want to ski bumps and groomed trails). Thanks!
Salomon sth10 or 12, look or rossignal px12 or sas12, or rossignal saphire 120 WB would all be excellent bindings for these skis. Just keep in mind you need at least a 90mm brake for these skis. good luck and happy powder hunting.
